Destinations: Delhi – Bagar – Bikaner – Nagaur – Jodhpur – Pushkar – Jaipur – Bharatpur – Agra – Departure.

 

Day 01: New Delhi: Welcome in India. Witness the sound and light show at Red Fort.

 

Day 02: New Delhi: Daylong sightseeing tour of Old Delhi (Shahajahanabad) and Lutyen's Delhi (New Delhi). In the evening you are free to shop at Connaught Place.

 

Day 03: Bagar: Reach the Shekhawati town of Bagar by road. Enjoy a walking tour of the town to see some of its frescoed havelies.

 

Day 04: Bagar: Excursion to Nawalgarh and Mandawa towns, these towns have some of the best frescoes. Savor a traditional Rajasthani lunch in a village.

 

Day 05: Bikaner: Reach Bikaner-the camel city. Visit the well-preserved Junagarh fort. In the evening visit the unique camel-breeding farm.

 

Day 06: Nagaur: On the way to Nagaur, a short stop over at Deshnoke Karni Mata temple to see the extraordinary number of rats patronized at the temple. At Nagaur, stay at the Maharaja style Royal tented camps in Nagaur Fort. The day is free to explore the countryside around Nagaur. In the evening enjoy local cultural entertainment.

 

Day 07: Jodhpur: After taking a short detour to Osian reach Jodhpur. Day tour includes Mehrangarh Fort, Ummaid Bhawan Palace and the bazaars of the walled city.

 

Day 08: Jodhpur: Take a half-day jeep safari to Bishnoi villages. View the efforts made by the Bishnoi community towards conservation of their environment. The rest of the day is at leisure.

 

Day 09: Pushkar: At the holiest city of Rajasthan, take a stroll on the streets around the sacred pond and the ghats up to the Brahma temple. You have the entire day free to explore this sacred town on your own.

 

Day 10: Jaipur: After arriving at Jaipur take a sightseeing trip of the city. In the evening walk through the many interesting lanes of Jaipur that are full of artisan's shops, temples and traditional houses.

 

Day 11: Jaipur: Take a walking tour in the morning through some of the interesting streets and squares of the Pink City to catch a glimpse of the daily routine of its inhabitants. This tour includes attending the heart-rending prayers at Sri Goving Devji temple. Elephant ride to Amber fort during the day. Visit a local farmhouse to relish an authentic Rajasthani dinner.

 

Day 12: Bharatpur: After arriving at Bharatpur, excursion to Deeg to see the elaborate water palaces built by Raja Surajmal Jat.

 

Day 13: Agra: Early morning visit to Keoladeo Ghana National Park to watch the wide variety of native and migratory birds. While driving towards Agra visit the abandoned town Fatehpur Sikri. At Agra in the latter half of the day visit the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. The evening is free to relax.

 

Day 14: New Delhi: You have the day free in New Delhi to do as you please. At the appropriate time in the day or the next morning, transfer to airport for departure.
